The responsibilities of this position include:
- Supervising undergraduate student workers to include,
- Training employees in procedures and policies
- Providing face-to-face supervision to students working in distributed computer labs
- Insuring student workers are checking functionality of classroom equipment and reporting equipment failure
- Insuring proper staffing per shift (finding covers, monitoring lates/call outs, etc.)
- Assigning daily tasks and monitoring completion
- Answering student questions
- Providing inventory and procedural information to users and prospective users
- Training faculty on classroom technology
- Maintaining and managing a student worker database
- Managing, organizing, and maintaining equipment inventory
- Maintaining and troubleshooting classroom equipment
- Using and updating our on-line checkout system for portable equipment
- Facilitating communication throughout the organization through emails, on-line documents, and forums
- Improving organization outreach to clients and assessing organization plans and policies for areas to improve.
